REASON 01
The reason is empty
You know what to do. What has gone is the reason to do it. However much method you pour into the empty place where the reason was, none of it holds.
REASON 02
The order was wrong
People teach someone who has fallen how to stand up, straight away. Nobody deals with the 'holding on' stretch in between. That is where most people drop away.
REASON 03
Not someone who has been through it
Successful people tell you how to succeed. Words from someone who has never fallen do not reach someone who has. It is a place they have never been.

Reason — why you live
It is not about finding one but about choosing again. You could not choose not because there was nothing, but because you had no strength to choose. We build that strength first.

Purpose — what you are heading toward
A purpose is not better for being bigger. It has to be small enough to hold today if it is to still be there tomorrow morning.

Values — what you hold to
Decide what you will hold to, and even when you are shaken there is somewhere to come back to. Values are not a belief; they are the coordinates you return to.

Standards — how you decide
These are rules set in advance so you do not have to decide afresh each time. For someone who has fallen, deciding is the most expensive thing there is.

Common questions
Is this counselling, or a course?
It is lectures and writing. It is not treatment or counselling, and we do not diagnose. If your condition calls for medical judgement, we will point you to a professional service.
Can this replace psychological treatment?
No, it cannot replace them. If you are in hospital treatment or professional counselling, carry on with it. Revival Ground is writing you keep beside that, and read.
I am struggling a lot right now — can I still take this?
If you are finding it hard to bear right now, a person comes before any writing. The suicide prevention line 109 is free, 24 hours, by call or text. What you say does not leave that line.
Do I have to talk about myself?
Stages 1 and 2 are reading only. You do not have to write anything. Even in the stage 3 one-on-one, you say only as much as you want to.
Is stage 1 really completely free?
